1980s Nostalgia
What is the reason for the excessive nostalgic interest in the 1980s in recent TV series and films? That's the question Omar Labari asks himself in Humbug Magazine #7. Series like Stranger Things and films like Everybody Wants Some!!, Censor and Adventureland make us nostalgic for the 1980s, a period that has now acquired a mythical reputation, despite its sometimes dark reality. Why does everyone want to go back to the 80s?
